Emma is a qualified Secondary Science Teacher who’s degree specialises in Outdoor Management with Education, Training and Development. Emma spent a number of years working and training in the Outdoor Industry before moving into Secondary Science Teaching.
Since working in secondary schools Emma has run a number of varied trips and has put Outdoor Learning as a key priority in the science curriculum, running over 30 trips for all ages of students. Most recently, Emma has held posts as Head of Faculty and prior to that as a Lead Practitioner. Emma has always had a passion for developing others and is currently studying Coaching and Mentoring.
Emma is bringing a wealth of information and experience to the Strong Roots Training team and will be supporting with a variety of training and development courses including First Aid, EVC and Visit Leader, Coaching and Mentoring and our Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
