What our clients say…

BASIC SCHOOL FIRST AID

This 3+ hour course is appropriate for all staff, in particular those who may need to deputise in the absence of the main first aider, and is also suitable for staff who may lead or accompany educational visits. The course is similar to the Appointed Person/Basic Skills Refresher course that HSE 'strongly recommended' as an annual refresher for those who have completed a statutory First Aid at Work qualification.

This course takes place on the school site, at a time to suit (eg 9.15 - 12.30).

Intended Audience

Any staff who wish to deputise in the absence of the main first aiders. i.e. Teachers, lunch time supervisors, breakfast club providers, catering operatives, cleaners, teaching assistants etc.

The group thoroughly enjoyed the training, the interaction was excellent and felt they learnt more rather than just listening to someone. We covered CPR, Bleeding, Shock, Choking and Unconscious Casualty. We will definitely be booking again for re-fresher courses. Jake was very good and went at a pace we could all cope with.
