The EVC update course is designed to ensure that EVCs are fully aware of changes since they were first trained
The course is a half day, and ensures that EVCs in schools are current and operating to best practice.
This course is aimed at existing EVCs in Independent Schools, Foundation Schools, and Academies.
The course is also appropriate for EVCs in other schools where their employer (eg. Local Authority) does not provide such training, or where this has been agreed by their employer as a suitable alternative.
This course is provided by the following experienced trainers, registered with the Outdoor Education Advisers Panel;
Jake Wiid, Outdoor Education Adviser
Participants will receive an OEAP Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
This course is free to attend for all Warwickshire Schools
Northgate House Conference Centre
Northgate House is situated on the Saltisford Road (A425) Warwick, Warwickshire CV34 4JL
Northgate House does NOT have on site parking
We are 13 minutes walk from Warwick Station. The best directions for which are:
- Head southeast on Station Road toward Coventry Road/A429
- Turn right at Coventry Road/A429
- Turn right at St John's/A429
- Slight right at Smith Street/A429
- Slight right at Priory Road
Northgate house is just the other side of the roundabout between Priory road and the Saltisford road.
Tea and Coffee will be provided throughout the day. Lunch may be purchased locally, alternatively you can bring your own packed lunch.
